Jee Wong maintains an exciting and diverse performing career as a concert pianist, composer, vocalist, and the director of education for Prosser Music Academy. After receiving his Master’s degree in music, he was a staff artist and adjudicator for a major piano company in Japan from 1995 – 1999, where he performed and gave workshops in Asia. When he surrendered his life to Christ in 2001, he asked God to let him share his ministry in the Christian community.
Jee is a Nationally Certified Teacher of Music (NCTM) and an adjudicator for Music Teachers National Association (MTNA). His soundtrack was featured in the Seattle International Film Festivals in August 2003.
Jennifer LaMountain, internationally known vocalist - February 13, 2010 – 7 p.m.
From her first church solo at age three, to her roles in opera, to regular appearances on religious television and worldwide satellite programming, Jennifer LaMountain continues to inspire listeners.
This former Tennessee girl who regularly sang specials for church with her two older sisters found herself exploring music and the stage early in life. Over the past decade, her stages have changed from a hometown church to major halls around the world, including the Crystal Cathedral, ManhattanCenter, and St. Louis Busch Stadium.
Jennifer is also an Artist Associate with World Vision and regularly speaks on their behalf. Buddy Houghtaling, singer and songwriter – March 6, 2010 – 7 p.m.
Buddy has a creative and unique flair of writing. His lyrics weave the stories of Christ's love for His people, His grace, and His mercy, and his music reflects various everyday experiences and the personal relationships of people in his life. Buddy's concerts have a friendly, relaxed and peaceful atmosphere. Through his humor he shows the joy of Christian living while balancing it with spiritual depth. His goal is to comfort the hurting, strengthen the spiritually weak, and to inspire Christian growth.
Jaime Jorge, concert violinist – April 10, 2010 – 7 p.m.
Following graduation from Loyola University in Chicago, Jaime was accepted into the University of Illinois medical school in Champaign/Urbana. But God had other plans for this gifted artist. “I love music!” Jaime says. “In fact, I often feel that instead of RBCs (red blood cells), I have tiny musical notes flowing through my veins. After months of praying and searching, a very clear signal came for me to leave medical school and go into music ministry full time.” Jaime’s forceful, expressive mastery of the violin has delighted audiences around the globe. A committed Christian, Jaime has dedicated his unique talent to sharing God’s love through sacred/classical concerts and special appearances.
