July 14: Happy Sabbath and Welcome to All Tabernacle Guests and Family! After the church service, please join us for the fellowship dinner in the Fellowship Hall in the annex building.  This week’s dinner is hosted by Sylvia Mullen’s team.  Next week’s fellowship dinner will be hosted by Deb Bateman’s team.

Our speaker today, Lloyd Erickson, is a Tabernacle elder.  Dr. Erickson is retired from a lifetime of youth ministry, most recently as Director of the Counseling and Testing Center at Andrews University.

Soup and Salvation, every Tuesday at 12 Noon and at 7:00 p.m. Join us in the Seminar Room as we study the “most precious message” which came to this church in the 1888 era.

July 16: Ladies Group luncheon will be at the Asian Buffet in Battle Creek at 1:00 p.m.


July 20:  Abide Vespers every Friday at 7:00 p.m. in the Junior Room.


COME ONE! COME ALL!  Church picnic on July 21, 2018, from 6:00 to 9:00 pm at the Kiwanis Youth Conservation (2230 15 Mile Road, Bellevue 49021).  Food Suggestions:  A-G bring Salads – Sandwiches, H-P bring Chips, Entrees, Baked Beans  Q-Z bring Desserts-fruit.  The church will provide plates, utensils.  Paper copy of directions and info are available.


The SDA Urbandale Church will be holding a Vacation Bible School July 23-27 from 6 – 8 pm.  The theme is, “A Week in the Forest”.  Come learn about forest animals, have an “animal treat” each night and enjoy Bible stories and games. 


SHORT WORKBEE:  Yard workbee at the church will be Sunday, July 15 from 9:30 to 10:30 a.m.  Bring blowers and weed whackers.  (Moe Ledoux)


This summer the Tabernacle will be hosting Mission College of Evangelism taught by world renowned evangelist and author Pastor Louis Torres. Classes will be from August 19- September 29, 2018. If you are interested in getting more training in the area of witnessing, consider this opportunity. Please contact Pastor Bernardo or Pastor Sotomayor for more information.

As you plan your tithes and offerings, please remember our church budget. Approximately $26,000 is required monthly to support our various ministries, maintain our church plant and nurture our K-12 school, Battle Creek Academy.  We have received approximately $3,550 thus far for the month of July.
