Steve Schoonard passed away unexpectedly on March 6. Cremation has already taken place. Please keep Steve’s family in your prayers.

Work Bee: Please come out and lend your hands for a work bee tomorrow, Sunday, April 18 at 9:00 a.m. to noon. All are welcome.

The Power of Optimism book, by the late best-selling author Alan Loy McGinnis, outlines practical steps to keep enthusiasm and motivation high. A presentation and discussion series will begin Thursday, April 29 at 7:00 p.m. Attendance is free but book purchase and RSVP is suggested. Battle Creek Academy

1) Open House: Join us on April 18 at 2:00 p.m. to find out about the improvements that have been implemented over the last two years, financial assistance and cost, future plans and strategic direction.

2) Book Sale: Sunday, April 18, from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. in the barn.  There will be books of all kinds – nonfiction, historical fiction, biographies, memoirs, devotional, and books for children.  The proceeds will go to classrooms for special projects and activities. 

3) Our Spring Constituency Meeting will be on Monday, April 26 at 7:00 p.m. Everyone is invited and encouraged to attend.

MONEY MATTERS: As you plan your tithes and offerings, please remember our church budget. Approximately $30,000 is required monthly to support our various ministries, maintain our church plant and nurture our K-12 school, Battle Creek Academy. We received a total of $23,932.05 for the month of March. Plan Ahead: Next week’s offering will be for MAP (Michigan Advance Partners).
