September 21: Happy Sabbath and Welcome to All Tabernacle Guests and Family! Guests are invited to join us for the fellowship dinner in the dining hall in the annex building. This week is hosted by Carmen Dickhaut’s team.   Next week’s dinner will be hosted by Clara Engle’s team.  Members please bring desserts.


September 21:  Welcome to our speaker Pastor Bill Brace. He recently “retired” from pastoral ministry after forty-one years. He will be leading out our upcoming evangelistic meetings Jesus on Prophecy.


September 21: The choir returns! For those interested, we will be having our first meeting in the Choir Room after potluck.  All talent levels are welcome!


September 21: Please come out and help distribute invitations for the evangelistic series at 2:00 p.m. We will meet in the Seminar Room.

A/V Interest: The A/V team is looking for volunteers to help out in different roles during the worship service.  If you are interested please contact David Mori, Training will be provided.


Bags of Love:  Please help us fill some bags by September 25 by donating the following items: soft bristle toothbrushes, toothpaste, shampoo, hair brushes, crayons, coloring books, small toys and other items for children ages 1-17. Place your items in the cradle on the lower level by the elevator.


Hurricane Dorian donations may be made through our Tabernacle Adventist Community Services in a marked tithe envelope.


Visitation Ministry visits will resume on October 19.


Battle Creek Tabernacle Sports Program: There will be a 4 on 4 Community Volleyball Tournament at Battle Creek Academy TONIGHT at 8:00 p.m.


BATTLE CREEK ACADEMY:  It is with heavy hearts that we announce that Duane Curtis, our Maintenance Director, passed away unexpectedly on Tuesday, September 17.  Duane was always willing to help wherever and whenever needed and always with a smile.  He loved to be involved with our youth.  He will surely be missed. Visitation will be Sunday, September 22 from 3:00 p.m. - 5:00 p.m. at Williams Gores Funeral Home located at 133 E Orchard St. in Delton.  The funeral service will be on Monday, September 23 at 11:00 a.m. at the Urbandale Church.

MONEY MATTERS:  As you plan your tithes and offerings, please remember our church budget. Approximately $27,000 is required monthly to support our various ministries, maintain our church plant and nurture our K-12 school, Battle Creek Academy.  Plan Ahead:  Next week’s offering will be for MAP (Michigan Advance Partners).
